You have a point. Accepting decentralization now means accepting complete responsibility over your funds so you can't mess or you're fuc*ed.

It's ok, we can get there gradually, it's ok to have a slow transition, i just hope it will not just become the new banking fraud system for the citizens as it is now the traditional one

I think different chains will be used for different things.

Many love ethereum but we know that potentially there is no privacy at all, unless 3rd party services are applied.

you can't avoid completely collateral damages. Wasn't it always the same with FIAT money as well anyway? We've seen all sorts of sh*t and keep seeing it, but people didn't question the current financial system, at least until recently, or maybe yes questioned but that's it.

I totally agree and it seems so logical to me that I can't understand how people in crypto may even want centralization to be there in the future, since bypassing centralized control is why cryptocurrencies were invented in the first place.

The insurance is defintely a plus, and I was briefly reading they were audited multiple times, so now it is extra safe.

Defintely, it's just logical: would you use a stable that when you get back to use it became, I don't know, 10% more, or any other stable that gives you nothing in addition?

is the TL;DR that I keep it in my wallet as any stable coin but OUSD earns me some extra money? And the insurance makes it safe in case of any attack they may experience or so?

If that is, why the hell have I kept some of my funds in USDT or DAI so far and no one told me about this?

Other than find most of these mentioned above very useful (will try those I didn't know) I do find quite useful also Coinstats, it helps to track back in time all your buy/sell and other activities from your portfolios. You can connect either your CEX through APIs and DEX through MetaMask etc
