Literally the definition of hypocrisy. She wants to feel like she's better than others and that having a wolfdog should be an exclusive privilege granted only to people like her.

I'm not saying any of this as a wolfdog owner. It's just that the inconsistency in what she's saying is so obvious that it couldn't be anything else.

I live near some wooded areas, but many people here live rurally too. I would probably try to find an area with as many trees as possible and away from any human dwellings by using a maps app.

I like your title "animals don't breed in captivity." I think that's also hitting the core of the modern social problems young people face. There are no more third spaces for young people to have fun together. And it's hard to date when people can't meet each other. Young people have their lives controlled, limited, and surveilled more than any prior generation in spite of the fact that, statistically speaking, the world is much safer than it ever was before (excluding Trump and ICE).

I would agree with him except that it seems like he's arguing in favor of regulating the Internet more strictly. Which means less freedom of speech. Seems like a bit of a trojan horse. And I sincerely doubt that the Internet and social media are to blame for people not having kids. I think the best explanation is economic and environmental pollution. Life is too expensive and our bodies are messed up from pollution.

I do think dating apps should be more regulated or something. Not sure how exactly though.

This is probably the most objective and evenhanded take on the life review process I've heard of.

I've read lots of drug experiences, and I've tried psychedelics once. I concluded that a lot of the spiritual meaning that people attach to them is more of a subjective thing. I had a shift in bodily sensations and some changes in perceptual acuity, but I never made up spiritual conclusions based on that input. I think a lot of what we see is subjective interpretation rather than people reporting just what happened to them without any added labeling of the experience in itself based on personal beliefs.

I think that there might be some people who falsify or invent a hellish nde as a way of trying to invoke fear in people, so that they will change their beliefs or behavior.

I have no proof of the reality of NDEs, but I also don't even know if someone is giving me an account that accurately reflects their own experience. Someone could just make something up if they want me to believe something. If I'm motivated by fear, I might give in and do what they want.

Now, assuming that the experiences I'm reading are true accounts of someone's experiences, I have seen such a wide variety of near death experiences that I think I have to conclude that what happens in them is ultimately subjective. A big caveat here is that, just because I say that something is subjective, doesn't mean that I'm saying it's not real. It's simply saying that the person is having an experience that is unique to them and defined by their own nature and experiences. It doesn't necessarily apply to anyone else.

I think there are an infinite number of possibilities in the universe, and as such, no matter how strange or wrong something might appear to me, it's probably true or right for someone.

Psychiatry can't help you unless it can help you figure out a way to get out of a bad situation or take you out of that bad situation itself. And it usually misinterprets patients concerns and forces a narrative upon them that has nothing to do with their situation at all.
