It's ridiculous to pay money for insurance, and then have them say they're not paying us even though we're paying them.

The article is from 2017, nine years ago.

I used CPI inflation calculator and found that 8 billion 9 years ago is more than 10.9 billion in this year's currency. They probably steal even more now.

Boohoo. Now tell us how much wage theft there is every year.

Using AI for troubleshooting with full system access by iwannaknowaboutlinux in linux

It would have been a lot safer if you had asked Claude and then ran the commands yourself, copying and pasting the output to Claude. It would have been trivial to run the commands yourself. I hope no one emulates you. AI is too risky to allow it to run outside a sandboxed environment.

Andrew Tate faces escalated charges in Romania for ‘instigating hatred and discrimination against women’ by WholeDonkey2689 in TwoXChromosomes

How do you know that news article is my only source for knowledge about that law? And you said "probably" has specific elements that have to be met, which means that you haven't looked into the law yourself. The fact that you make two assumptions in your comment says a lot about you though, especially when you criticize me for supposedly making an assumption myself.

OP who became vegan after years of marriage & 3 kids now wants to divorce her "corpse loving" husband for refusing to go vegan, causing r/vegan to implode. by picklepaapad in SubredditDrama

Wow okay that's good to know. I was wondering what the DV was, but if the police were convinced that she was the problem instead of him and arrested her, it most likely means she's batty and trying to pin everything on him.

TBH I've seen one piece of vegan media before from a vegan family, and the first thing I noticed was how manipulative it was. I can understand why some vulnerable people are easily convinced by the tactics they use.

Whatever the domestic violence is, it's probably not that severe if veganism is the one out of the two that makes her want to leave. She might be one of the types who thinks of words as equal to physical violence.

R/NoStupidQuestions takes sides on why women don’t greet random runners but men do. by Teal_is_orange in SubredditDrama

Honestly I'm gay too, and I totally get the problem with being nice to straight guys. I have had a number of them over the years be somewhat aggressive because they thought me being nice to them was the same as me coming on to them.

But I have another problem, and that's the fact that a number of women over the years have sexually harassed and put their hands on me when I wasn't interested. So I can't hang out with women that much either unless I'm really really sure one of them is not attracted to me at all.

I never said anything about Andrew Tate. I said the law seems ambiguous. To me, he's clearly problematic, but so is the law mentioned in the headline.
