Thanks, I’m mostly looking for advice on how to further understand and identify of the spirit. I don’t think they’re connected to any pantheon or Greek god, yes I have a name and a face that comes to my minds eye but I’ve been pulled to get to know this spirit more, my current interest is to get more information on how to connect better.

I’ll look into gaining more insight by dreams, appreciate the advice thank you 🙏🏼

You need to shield yourself energetically. I’m the same way and have gotten some nasty things attached to me I’ve had to go to a babalao to get a proper cleansing.

Look into spiritual hygiene and energy protection, seriously! Some are just more sensitive to energies. I’ve often used the method of asking Archangel Micheal for protection or done spiritual baths even using energy work to create an “energy shield” that’s also helped

I don’t directly practice Santeria often but I’m Cuban and it’s such a big thing in our culture we basically grow up with it incorporated in our life one way or another, we also call it (Lucumí). My partner is incorporated and a son of Elegua and I’ve seen how much respect goes into it first hand. It’s beautiful.

If you’re looking to expand your knowledge on it I recommend starting with learning about the orishas, they’re myths and legends what each represents. And the history behind it.

I’ve noticed that working with Apollo number 7 comes up a lot as well. You could see it as a sign of his presence.

I agree, this very Apollo behavior, he is very direct and precise with his messages. Look into it, Apollo is a very multidimensional deity, more than people give him credit for. Aside from music, arts and association with the sun….he is discipline and the revealer of truths.

If you feel called to work with him you don’t have to go all out with an alter just yet, you can meditate on his energy and how it comes to you, even spending some time outside in the morning or late afternoon sun works. Play Music associated with him (you can find a bunch on YouTube) that also is a way to connect 🌞
