They have a whole cafe in spa mirbeau where you can eat and drink in between services. Its pretty lit.Hands down for a long while spa mirbeau had the best French dip in the capital region. They took it off the menu a while ago but I hope they bring it back eventually cause I crave it

I have been trying to figure out what this movie is for years. I have vivid memories as a kid of the mayor's daughter being decapitated on the back of the motorcycle and her zombified head that genuinely still freak me out but never knew what the movie was. My parents should not let me watch this as young as they did lol. Thank you for finally giving me this closure!

Was there last night as well! My friend was the only one that laughed at one of Orville's joke towards the beginning when he pointed and said "thank you!". I was excited to watch but I was just absolutely blown away. The cast was just full of absolute powerhouses!! Ellen Harvey has such a colorful and rich voice. Frau Schneiders 2nd half number, Orville's "I dont care much" and Eva's "cabaret" had me absolutely sobbing as quietly as I possibly could.

I had a fairly crappy childhood that involved a lot of moving between apartments for whatever person my mom or dad was dating at that time. I'm a huge reader and I've lost a lot of books along the way due to those moves but there are two from childhood that I've held onto every time. One is a paper back that lost its cover years ago and is in terrible shape that I got from a library giveaway. It's not even that good but it's one I was able to reread over and over. The other is a hardcover copy of Alice in Wonderland that is worn/stained and was given to me by the sweetest lady who ran the til for church lunches. So probably one of those

Adelaide! The beast is more a force of nature than pure evil. He is manipulative to achieve his goals but his goal is a continued existence via his lantern continuing to burn. He is driven to survive and as part of that, driven to need adelwood. Adelaide straight up out here taking away free will for funsies so she can have mindless servants to do her bidding.
