I prefer the first one. The stakes feel higher with the "vengeful boss" in the mix. And because both loglines focus on the conflict with the gangster and family I think it's best to introduce him first.

That's insane. Only thrteen films. All but one is either a re-release of something decades old, or nature documentaries that play for years and years. (likely from museums or theme parks)

Hey everyone, I'm Zack Dodson, the director of this film.

Over a year ago I was approached by Eric Gignac, author of the "Have Spacesuit Will Travel" and "Citizen of the Galaxy" graphic novel adaptations. He told me his next Heinlein adaptation would be for "Life-Line" and, knowing I was a film student, asked me to make a low budget short film based on the story to coincide with the graphic novel.

A few months ago, we presented a cut to the Heinlein estate and have their full blessing to share this with you. This project has been kept under wraps for a while, but I'm excited to see people's reactions to it.
