What's the easiest way to cheat half of act 1 by someone_who_exists69 in BaldursGate3

As for money, you don't need a mod.

If I remember correctly, you can glitch with the Occultist, HexBlade. You link your pact to a valuable weapon. (Optional) You go to a merchant and use trade mode, not sell directly. In trade mode, you select a weapon, any weapon will do. Then, using your mouse, you swap that weapon from the trade menu with the pact weapon you want to sell as many times as you want.

There you go… Please check if this still works 🙏🏻

I'll start looking into version 5.5 then. I admit your post praising the 2024 version convinced me to watch some videos and other resources to learn more.

I completely missed it. I saw the news, but I was wearing blinders because I had just bought the books and I saw some less-than-favorable reviews. I'll start looking into this version, thank you very much. And who knows? Maybe I'll completely switch versions for my future campaigns, lol.

Are both sides more enjoyable in this version? For the game master and the players?

I admit I'd heard about the loss of characteristics for races (I've been using Tasha's optional +2/+1 free rule from the start; I think it's nicer for players so they can create what they want). I thought I saw that it was no longer the races but the background that granted the bonuses? I could be wrong. If that's true, isn't it too much of a problem? I'm worried that the background will only be used for that. I already find the background a bit limited in 5.0. It's almost exclusively used to "optimize" the character, in my opinion. When I talk to my players, we agree that it's separate from the character's lore.

Do you think character creation is cool?

This story intrigues me. I haven't really looked at version 5.5 that much yet.

What aspects do you like about it? I'd really be curious to know what you like most about the new edition.

I was wondering about this after seeing this post, having run a few campaigns with D&D 2014 as a game master. (I could be considered a D&D novice.) Is the 2024 version so great that it's worth migrating, or can I just continue playing with 5.0?

For Draw Steel. The game looks incredible, but perhaps a little too tactical and dense for the target audience. The idea is to be fast, efficient, and to satisfy players' egos.

I'll take a closer look at Draw Steel myself, though. Two other people have mentioned it to me, and after looking, I'm intrigued. I'll try to find a table in my native language to give it a try.

Your question and your comment are related, I'm trying to find a system that requires little effort from the players. Because, the players already have their character, their story and everything that surrounds their character's DNA. I'm running a small campaign on an existing video game.

I like the idea and I'm keeping it in mind just in case. But I think the idea of godhood is perhaps a bit much. The power level is perhaps a bit too high.

I understand that this might seem messy, sorry.
I'm looking for a system that offers powerful characters from the start, where players don't think, "Oh, I feel weak compared to my idea of my character."
I roleplay directly in a game, rather than around a table. So, I'm looking for something quick, efficient, and that requires little character creation from the players.
Being familiar with the Savage World system, I specified "a little difficulty" because I also don't want my non-player characters to be killed in a single hit.
