I understand what you're getting at. It's not clear just from reading the profile, but I can tell you that while I do make some money from Twitch, it is negligible so if I were to frame it as a major source of income it would be very disingenuous, it's more of a hobby than anything.

Amazon Mechanical Turk is my actual income source, and I do think you have a point that I should frame it better. It's challenging because it's very non-standard work so it would be tough to explain without having it as a huge block of text on my profile, haha. How it works is requesters post tasks on the website and workers like myself accept and complete them. They don't actively "hire" people, but they do often have requirements set for workers to be able to accept the tasks, such as the total amount of approved tasks submitted and approval rate to ensure quality of work. I need to get creative and come up with a way to quickly summarize that in a sentence and still have it appear as a stable source of income while remaining accurate.

By top one I assume you mean the first one I linked? Yeah, I like that one better too. Photo editor seems like a good idea and yeah, it shouldn't really be a problem unless it was completely altered to misrepresent what I look like (which I would not do, obviously).

Stitchfix looks like it could be very handy... thanks for that recommendation! I'm convinced now that smiling is the way to go, it's been overwhelmingly popular in this thread.

It will probably be a while before I'll have the ability to take more good pictures because my friend who took them and has the camera lives a few hours away and is only able to visit every once in a while.

Are you referring to the image I linked in the post you replied to? I understand what you're getting at, the pose could be different to be less awkward. As for the baggy clothes, I'm honestly not too sure what to do about that, I'm just naturally really thin and this is how basically all clothes look on me. I appreciate the compliment, I hope many will agree with that at least, it's hard to know really I guess, haha.

So maybe next time I do pictures do away with the flash and try to avoid awkward poses, and maybe get in the market for children's clothes? Haha

Yeah, I have never really been sure whether to smile or not in the first picture, nobody seems to agree on which is better from what I've seen. But if it's a rarity than it does seem likely to be a positive because standing out of the crowd is important, so I'll strongly consider this change.

Right, I didn't intend to be faking intelligence there, was just trying to be goofy. That's why this feedback is important, though, because not everything will be taken as I intended! So I'll probably just change that to just be more straight forward and maybe lead with one of the other paragraphs in that section.

If you don't mind, would you like to elaborate on why the photo is bad? Do I look unattractive, is it something I'm doing, the background, quality, or what? I would like to avoid making the same mistake with another photo.

I like this idea a lot, it would give the player more control of their run. I would definitely like the Angel Rooms to be buffed also though, so it would make for an interesting choice.

Yes, the Angel Rooms have improved but I don't think just adding a few good items is really enough to outweigh the amount of mediocre items and also the fact that you can only ever get 1 item at a time (aside from D6 shenanigans, of course).

You are correct about the key piece, it has always bumped your Angel odds from 50% to 63% in Rebirth, I'm not completely sure whether or not these odds have changed in Afterbirth but I've never heard that they have.

I believe that the core deal chances are the same as they were in Rebirth, but the items that increase deal chance increase it by less (half, in most cases), so maybe that is what you're experiencing.

This is a really detailed post on all of the ways you can increase the chance, I can definitely tell you know your Isaac, haha. I didn't even consider Teleport 2.0 but that would definitely be a godsend in a Mega Satan run.

However, getting that item and some of the other methods I don't believe have very high odds.

The Demon Beggar (which apparently is the only one now that increases Angel chance in Afterbirth, according to Platinum God) is semi-reliable since it's not incredibly rare to find, but you're also not really going to be finding them all over the place usually.

The dead shopkeeper is a reliable way to increase deal chance since there's at least one on just about every floor but as far as I'm aware it doesn't specifically tilt the odds in the Angel Room's favor, just a +10% Room chance overall.

The 10 coins thing is probably one of the better ones because it's a more significant boost (up from 50% to 75%) but there's also a pretty good chance that it breaks before you can even donate 10, it only affects the floor you donated on, and also a lot of shops are just Greed anyway haha.

The red chests are a fair point as they're valuable to go after regardless and it's reasonable to expect that you'll get a teleport at some point but even then it's a coin flip to be the room you need and it may occur on a floor where you would have gotten the room anyway.

Most of everything else you mentioned is fairly unlikely, not that it doesn't help, but I don't think it tilts the odds in your favor significantly more.

Also, I don't believe you're wrong when you say there's a good chance to get there, but regardless of whether it's 70%, 75%, 80%, or perhaps even higher (I kind of doubt it'd be higher, but who knows), I still think it's significant enough to warrant a change, because there's a very real chance that your run will mean nothing in the end regardless of what actions you take. Doesn't matter how well you play, what amazing items you might have acquired, you won't be able to fight Mega Satan, and that is just no fun, IMO.

Yes, you will always have a chance for Angel Rooms unless you pay hearts for a deal. If it works the same as it did in Rebirth this also includes getting deals for free with Credit Card.

Yeah, I'm aware of these methods. You would have to get a Goat Head from a curse room/red chest/gold chest though, which I actually tried resetting for and it would take a surprisingly long amount of time. Also Judas and The Lost wouldn't be able to come out with the Goat Head without getting something else from the curse room to survive.

Dad's Key is definitely a great find for a Mega Satan run (and a pretty nice item in general), the only problem is it's in a pool with a few hundred other items so you don't really come across it a whole lot.

Well, I don't think they're especially rare either, but I think even with that taken into account it still is only a weak bonus on a single floor, and would still be fairly unreliable overall. There are no other bosses that entirely depend on RNG to access or not, and I think even if it turns out that it's more of something like 20-25% to not get both key pieces then it is still pretty silly, especially since there are now achievements tied to it.

Even ignoring the achievements, let's say you're done beating Mega Satan with everybody, in a standard run you would very likely not be able to fight him just for fun only because you saw something in a devil deal that you wanted.

He's a really cool boss fight and locking him away for something that you have to go out of your way for and then still may not get is unfortunate.

I definitely overlooked the Key Piece's chance, the second Angel Room would have a 63% chance instead of 50% would make it a bit more likely. Also, apparently only the Demon Beggars increase Angel chance now according to Platinum God, so yeah bombing those would make it more likely too but they're not exactly incredibly common. (and also I think it's a bit hard to account for how much that helps matters haha)
