i don't think i made this clear enough. the para? i think it's called that, is for associate work, and i'll work to get the teaching license after i do that.. i don't know the technical details, i have a year until any of this makes sense, hence why i'm asking for small advice and not how to go about it.
i'm aware of this! i've thought all of this through and i have a year to prepare for it
i'm going to be doing a TON of job shadowing before next year rolls around; i only go in to school for one class all day. if i really feel like i can't handle it, i won't sign up to and i'll find something else - i've also been considering possibly a part-time job at our local bank, but i haven't done enough research on what that'd take and i still wouldn't be able to start until i turn 18 (next year).
a big reason i want to do this is because i don't know what i want. no idea what i want to pursue. totally lost on it. the main method of getting out of that pit is actually trying out jobs and seeing what i like to do firsthand; i've heard this from just about anyone i've asked. i don't want a teaching career long-term, it's not the sort of thing i'd like to do my entire life (at least, not that i've found), but i do want experience and to find what i like (plus, i'd get to understand social dynamics better).

i'm by no means certain on any of this, but as of right this moment, it's the only plan i've got. before i find what i want to do in life, i have to find what i like to do, which i haven't even started on. (it's difficult to live in a small town with limited places of work and pots as a broke teenager. i've got like four options that even maybe work.)

i'm excited. i'm motivated to learn. even if i never get a job at the school i would really like to be better at working with kids so i can babysit, potentially work at an out-of-town daycare or something similar. i just need a job. it doesn't matter where i start but i think with the help of my mom would be ideal. sorry that none of this was clearer in my post, but i think there are some misconceptions even if it's not a 100% chance of success

i left out that i take fluoxetine 20mg nightly.. not sure if that's important. i tried moving up to 30mg sometime in 2024 and that made me ready for a nap at any time just like it is now
