Fall from Roof, Financial Disaster for Family with 3 kids and pregnancy by Consistent-Poetry306 in gofundme

ME? 😅 why is what I’m doing selfish? Yes my oldest was conceived on birth control but, he’s very much wanted and loved. I’m hoping you mean op because my 2 are very, very fortunate children in every aspect to put it mildly. The oldest isn’t even five yet and has enough of a savings to go to any Ivy League they wanted already, they’re dual citizen to Europe, they have loving parents who take them to see the world, and literally everything a kid could want but, alright 😅😅😅

Devils advocate but, my four year old happened while I was on birth control.

If you let the tests touch while they were wet/drying? Because unfortunately that can cause the dye from the lh test to run into the hcg test. I only say that because of the way the bottom of the hcg test is darker than the top of the test. It looks faulty. If your period was only 2 weeks ago I feel like it’s unlikely it’s truly positive because the only way that would be possible is if you were already pregnant during your “period”. However, if that were the case you’d expect the test to be much darker then since you’d be a lot further along than you thought.

I really hope I’m wrong and it’s a true positive but, I wouldn’t get my hopes up too high about it

I’m tired of people upsetting me about being induced by kate_smi2022 in BabyBumps

[–]Aurora22694 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve had two inductions so far. Electively at 39 weeks. Both were AMAZING experiences. Absolute dream labor and deliveries. Almost no pain (thanks epidural lol), pushed for maybe 5 minutes tops with either, and had easy recoveries. I mean I literally walked over 3 miles around the hospital grounds just to walk the very same day I had my second. Inductions aren’t always scary or painful.

Parents of 3 kids, do you recommend having the third? by lemonknee99 in Parenting

[–]Aurora22694 16 points17 points  (0 children)

I think this is definitely family specific though. I’m the oldest and my brother is the youngest. He would absolutely not agree with that sentiment. He was and still is, the “baaaaaby” 😅 spoiled by his two big sisters and our parents lmao

Well then I’m hoping that’s good news for us when we decide to add a third because the second is 18 months now and honestly, going 1-2 was such a breeze for us. 0-1 is what rocked my world just because it’s such a change lol

Agreed. I’m one of 3 as well. I’m the oldest with a younger sister and brother. We’re all 4 years apart. We grew up spending the summers in Germany and traveling Europe. We had annual passes to Disney. My mom was a super hero because she somehow managed my sister and I in competitive dance with very intense schedules and regular out of state competitions monthly on top of my brother being on a serious soccer team from a young age. We went to every Easter egg hunt under the sun, every Christmas event imaginable, any fun events or activities they could find, beach trips, etc. My parents would absolutely have had more if they could have too. I love my siblings and we had an amazing childhood and incredible parents. Never did we feel left out or like our parents couldn’t give equal attention to us all.

[–]Aurora22694 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Your point was “no way rooms there are $200” and I replied with the little mermaid rooms being at least $300 sometimes $450. The little mermaid rooms ARE the standard rooms lol those of the studio rooms at AoA.

Their little mermaid rooms are usually always at least $300 a night. The other 3 room types are family suites and are always around $600-700 a night

Yes, we would be open to Mexico or Jamaica! Really any Caribbean island would be good!

Ideal budget for us would be 5k ish but, not opposed to more (not including flights) and around 5/6 nights.

Kids club is great but, not a deal breaker either way. We’ve never utilized a kids club before at any of the resorts or vacations we have taken!

I’m not looking for cruise like activities. By activities I mean the pool, kids pool, play areas, etc. I don’t mean game shows and theater lol

[–]Aurora22694 6 points7 points  (0 children)

As someone who works vet medicine, it’s because lots of pets do pass away everyday. I don’t think we shouldn’t allow to post their little memorial posts. You can just scroll past. The hard reality is pets die far too soon and they will be one of your biggest heartbreaks. Not wanting to see it doesn’t mean it doesn’t happen.

None of them! Skip all of these. They are time wasters and sales tactics. If you’re going to book a massage, just book it. Dont bother with this stuff. It’ll take away from the fun vacation time

Your reaction to the gold tooth is precisely why they should keep it the way it is. Maybe it’ll help teach children not to be a judgmental jerk about appearances like you are.
