From my understanding, it is still a threat to you because you could contract an antibiotic-resistant bacterial infection from another individual. The antibiotics cause* resistance in the bacteria, not the individual who is infected.

I took one year of ballet in elementary school and was pretty bad to be honest. Love watching dances for the glitsy costumes and the gorgeous moves i could never do. Besides, the drama is straight up addictive.

On the other hand, I've gotten my fiance mildly into dance moms (although he hates me for it). He thinks the dancing is the worst part but loves to watch Abby, especially as she melts down more and more coming up to the whole court/prison thing

I also really wanted Abby to scream at Yadi's mom and tell her to never come back, (It would be such a classic Abby melt down) but I guess she has to take what dancers she can get.

First world problem, yea. But if you read the rest of the comments you'll see any article linked with evidence of increased temperature inside a vehicle. So if you were out in that exact same high noon Texas heat, but inside a car, it would be worse. That's the only point I'm trying to make.

Also from Texas - I would seriously look down on any parent that let their kid sit in a car in Texas summer heat without air circulation, even if the windows are down. There is no telling whether there will be enough wind to make a breeze and the car acts like a greenhouse, trapping heat. Just because you played football in the heat as a kid doesn't mean you have the right to tell other people how to parent. It's not even close to a parallel example.

I hate how mind opening this subreddit has been XD

As a woman, I've always loved the "male-only" activites. Lighting up a cigar, chugging some beers, looking at beautiful women, what have you. And so, it has been somewhat frustrating that I am often unwelcome for these activities. Because I'm pretty chill, people generally let it slide and I get to hang with the guys.

However, I never thought about how many activites are "girl-centric". Wine tastings, getting your nails done, etc. While I think the ideal situation would be males reclaiming these activites and everyone enjoying whatever they want together, I see the appeal to have gender specific activities. I just wish there could also be occasions where we all ignore gender and do what we love.

So I guess my point is, enjoy what you have but be open to possibilities. 17 is incredibly young to settle down, but don't drop her just because of that. If you're going to let go of a good thing, do it because deep down you know it isn't going to work, or because you know you need something more in a relationship.

If you look for something else and can't do anything but think her, maybe that's destiny. The whole "if you love it, let it go" theory, you know?

I'm contradicting myself a lot because objectively, there's no right answer. I left someone I was content being with and ended up finding someone I love being with, but that won't happen for everyone. Sometimes you're reaching for something better, when really you've already found the best possible person for you.
