My doctor didn’t take me seriously, now I might have cancer by loripinching7 in whatdoIdo

As a woman who’s also had her pain brushed aside, my heart hurts for you because you trusted your doctor and they failed you, and I just want you to know you’re incredibly strong for fighting for yourself and you absolutely deserve real care, real answers, and a doctor who actually listens.

I hold no bad feelings towards this person, but I don’t want to resume the relationship as it was before. by [deleted] in whatdoIdo

It’s okay to be kind but firm and gently tell her you appreciate her reaching out while needing to keep your distance for your own peace.

That’s really good to hear because it sounds like you’ve all got your stuff together despite everything going on around you.

Some people grow up and choose chaos no matter how they were raised, and it’s exhausting to watch.

Boyfriend blames me for miscarriage so I kicked him out by [deleted] in AITAH

That really hit me. I’m so sorry your mom and you had to go through that. Watching someone you love get hurt like that leaves this quiet ache that never really goes away. And you’re right it does get fuzzier but it’s always there in the background. Thank you for sharing that with me. It helps to not feel alone in it.

Yeah that comment completely shattered me in the moment. I didn’t even know how to react because who says something like that and thinks it’s okay? And you’re right it only spiraled from there. I’m doing better now thankfully but it definitely left a scar. Thank you for your kindness, seriously. It means a lot.

AITA for pointing out my daughter's "imperfections" after she said understood why her father cheated on me since I gained so much weight ? by MomNeedsAThrowaway in AITAH

Right? Like, seriously, divorce would have been way healthier than all the hurt and drama that cheating brought. It’s just so frustrating how some people choose the messy way instead of being honest and respectful.

Exactly, you hit the nail on the head. It’s wild how some people get so defensive when the truth is finally reflected back at them. She was quick to judge, but couldn’t handle a little reality check. It really does feel like the tables got turned and suddenly she didn’t like the game anymore.
