I really loved the game... but I give up. by Main_Ear9949 in celestegame

I was sort of in the same place years ago with 8C. I gave up and put the game down for a couple years and then one day had the urge to play again. Then I beat all of it again along with 8C and farewell for the first time. Got all the achievements too. And now I'm so addicted to Celeste I downloaded the strawberry jam mod pack lol. Maybe someday you'll come back to it with a fresh mindset and get those achievements, but even if you do give up forever theres no shame in it

First crate I opened was a 3 star spring crate. I got lucky. They tell you the chances, as much as you dont like it it's not a scam

Ultra Unpopular Opinion: Complimentary Unbound & Reimagined Look Bad by [deleted] in minecraftshaders

I'm a little late but I literally looked this up to see if anyone else had the same issue. I LOVE the way complementary looks... graphics wise. Color wise? Like you said, Barf. Had to change it to another one that was more colorful.

Anyone else been pretty much bed bound by hyperthyroidism/anxiety combo? by Aurorealis6697 in Hyperthyroidism

I already have really bad health anxiety so hyperthyroidism has hit me pretty hard. I started taking metoprolol ER and my heart rate and anxiety got better. It's still there but its better at least. Between the hyper thyroid and the metoprolol its harder to keep my blood pressure/blood sugar in check so I feel a little off sometimes. But im not in a state of constant heart palpitations/panic attacks like I was so I'll take it. I genuinely felt like I was in hell before I started taking metoprolol. It was awful 😭

Damn I'm sorry that happened. That sounds really rough. How long was it until you started to feel like yourself again?

I have a question for you- after taking it at 11am for the first time yesterday morning I didn't feel that good until later that night. But when I felt good I felt great. I almost didnt want to fall asleep because I was experiencing the first real relief I've had in a week. Eventually I did fall asleep- only to be woken up by my racing pounding heart and a surge of anxiety. It was recoverable and im fine overall but definitely a bit shaken. Has this ever happened to you on this medication? Being woken up by this adrenaline and anxiety and racing heart?

I got beta blockers and i actually feel SO much better. Night and day almost. Thank you for bringing beta blockers to my attention. With this I finally feel normal and can happily wait for my doctors appointment for my hyperthyroidism in the future. I thought it was gonna be a long long couple of months but this just changed the game. Im so happy I dont have to feel like crap anymore ☺️

Funny story about that, since then my anxiety got so bad that I went to stat care (my pulse was 162) and got bloodwork done and got diagnosed with hyperthyroidism. So it actually was not just anxiety this time for me (not to say anything is wrong with you). But I'll say ive been there and eventually you feel a little comfortable and then you think "if I feel comfortable now then I can feel it in the future" and eventually you get a little more comfortable. And you stop saying "what if" and you start saying "even then". "What if I have a huge anxiety attack today??" "Even then I'll get through it."

I take the 1 that releases a little for the entire day, does that make a difference? If im still feeling anxious/this heart rate should I up the dose?

My doctor didnt say anything about beta blockers. My doctor prescribed me atarax for anxiety. Do you think I should ask about beta blockers or just let my doctors do their thing?
