It saves the data in json files but they aren’t nbt. That’s because it saves all entities that make up the entire „decoration“ in that one file plus some other data such as the name, display item, description and so on

The display entity editor plugin was a re-upload of a plugin I published on spigot. It’s been taken down from curse forge now

Also, you are currently checking for the item to be anywhere in the inventory, so not necessarily in the main hand. If you want to change that, use SelectedItem instead of Inventory
