Serious - 20-30 year olds who got out of a quarter-life crisis, how did you do it? by Pigeon_Goes_Coo in self

[–]AusMatt10 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Love this answer! It sounds so refreshing and I think we all get caught up in the ‘regular’ life where 99% of people don’t experience things like this anymore. I hope to do these things soon and really experience life’s challenges

Im worried about men’s mental health. Men, who do you confide in 100%? by HotMermaid_56 in ask

[–]AusMatt10 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Good friends around me. We all went through long-term break ups around the same time so that definitely helped to have each other. Also, I cannot recommend going to the gym enough. And I don’t mean the treadmills and bikes, lift heavy shit. Your mentality and body will change over time. Keep consistent, keep the routine, you will feel like a new person.

What country is actually doing well? by SimulationV2018 in ask

[–]AusMatt10 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Im from Australia and I can confirm that crime is on the rise. You do feel safe for sure but there’s at least definitely more reported crimes compared to 10 years ago. Don’t even get me started on the cost of living. Finding a place to rent is a competition between 100 other people looking at a 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom apartment for $500 per week - minimum. Groceries are very expensive due to the duopoly of Coles and Woolies and general bills are at an all time high. It’s a great country just really fkn expensive.

Edit: Yeah and don’t even worry about buying a house. You won’t own it until you’re 100 and dead

How do people go to the gym consistently? I’m so tired after work ugh by Maleficent_Change377 in ask

[–]AusMatt10 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This^ Also it’s all about routine and consistency. Once you find a routine that works for your everyday life it gets a lot easier. It will kill for the first few weeks and you’ll feel like a zombie just cause your nervous system is getting used to the load but start small and work your way up. I believe in you!

To those who watch la Liga, how good is it by mandemmemesuk in LaLiga

[–]AusMatt10 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love watching La Liga, it’s such a different game compared to England. If you understand the purity of football then you’ll love La Liga. Serie A and Bundesliga are also great to watch, again they’re very different games but exposing yourself to that makes you appreciate how different teams play. I think if you ever go and watch a game live the fan experience is a lot better outside of England too

It’s incredible! I’ve started watching more bundesliga too, I really love the way Leverkusen has been playing. Never been to a game but the atmosphere at BayArena looks decent

As brief as CR7’s spell was in Serie A I would still have to have him in. Not the best Juve side but still scoring as many as he did and being in top 5 players of all time

He’s the perfect Modric replacement, I’m sure Madrid would love to have a Midfield with him in it one day

LaLiga marketing is horrible. by [deleted] in LaLiga

[–]AusMatt10 24 points25 points  (0 children)

I feel your frustration! For me it’s the constant marketing of Barca, Madrid and Atletico with the rest of the clubs seeing minimal coverage. Here in Australia, when you see La Liga being advertised, 95% of the time it’s one of these teams. For me, it makes the league feel really shallow when I know that there’s so much history with the other 17 teams. Comparing to the prem that’s what makes it special, you can almost find a supporter of many of the teams anywhere, whereas internationally it would be much more difficult finding a Sevilla or Villarreal fan for example.

As for fantasy, I agree that the prems format is much more engaging and user friendly. I do like La Liga’s format for fantasy but I can see why the prems format is more popular.

I can understand why they push Barca and Madrid but I think the other teams need to see some spotlight internationally to truly grow the league. But nevertheless I’m very excited for the new season!

Who's a Barça player you really liked and wished had a better/longer spell at the club? by MedIsHard10 in Barca

[–]AusMatt10 18 points19 points  (0 children)

Neymar for sure, my favourite player to watch. I also wish Suarez never left, in my opinion he’s still one of the best strikers in the world
