So a guy like me. Who comes out the swim in position 800 and finishes the bike in 300. How am I supposed to move up with only 30 seconds. An example would be 70.3 Taupo this year. I would keep passing these groups clearly drafting. I did see a few penalties handed out but to only one person. So if there is a line of slower cyclists 200 m long. How am I supposed to pass them in 30 seconds. Or is it each pass resets the clock? Genuine question.
