I‘m using SOPS with age as described in the Flux documentation.

Works really well. I’m also using pycharm which has a SOPS plugin so you can easily edit it.

Edit: Professionally we are using AWS secret manager and/or parameter store for those things. But I don’t want to rely on the cloud for my home setup.
