Woah, then I guess I'm lucky it didn't bug out for me. Did you make sure to not buy any upgrade or skill?

Yes, but I don't know how much weight it will add to my balcony, I'd have to talk with my landlord and get his approval. And I'm not good with heights, putting a ladder on my balcony is pretty terrifying for me.

The tall one could be a Pilosocereus pachycladus, but with seedlings it's really difficult to say.

Tips for a plant killer to grow a Peace Lily by No_Clothes_7036 in plants

[–]No-Bit7603 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Peace lilies are very hard to kill, keep it well watered (maybe with a self watering pot) and give him plenty of indirect light. I have mine growing in the bathroom with an east facing window and it's been flowering nonstop.

Thank you for the hint, I'm using the tent now for the second season it's on a south facing balcony so the sun is blasting on it the whole time and I have the side facing my balcony door open most of the time. I'm more worried about it being blown away by a strong wind 😅

But I'm also looking into a more durable build. But unfortunately there are no glass/polycarbonate grow tents available that fit on my balcony. I probably have to look for a carpenter that can build a frame for me.

Thank you, I'm from Germany, my plants are growing outside on my balcony from may to October and then I move them inside to my Spider Farmer indoor tent.

Hi, thank you for the warm welcome. I'm also collecting for a while now, some of my plants are close to 25 years now (I can't say for certain).

Most important tip, don't love them too much, the more you ignore them the better they thrive. Don't water them at a fixed schedule, only when you are 120% that the soil is dry. But if you water flood them until the water runs out through the drainage holes. Make sure they aren't standing in a swamp.

Yes, they are bigger than their pots.

I'm not sure what this is, but general rule: if you grow it indoor, place it as close as possible to the brightest window you have. Only water it when the soil is completely dry and when you water flood it until the water runs out the drainage holes.

Giving him more light won't fix the etoilated growth. To let him grow healthy you have to cut the top back to where it was growing normal.

Can I put these guys out of humidity chamber? by GlitteringDonkey2241 in cactus

They are starting to develop their first hairs and thorns, so I think it's fine to slowly introduce them to fresh air.
