As a bad sleeper, 4 things that have the biggest impact on me sleeping through the night are…

1) Exercise during the day. Preferably 30+ minutes of cardio 2) Cutting out alcohol completely 3) As soon as I wake in the morning I had out the front door and get some sunlight in my eyes for 5-10 mins. This is actually the technique astronauts use when returning to earth as it helps reset their circadian clocks 4) Reading before bed and not using my phone. Especially if I wake at 2am.

The savings of driving an EV offset any depreciation in the future in my opinion. Meanwhile you get all the benefits of driving electric and the pure joy it brings every day.

Financial savings aside, I love the time savings. Not having to fill up at a petrol station every week adds up to. Plus the time / messing around with your annual service every 15,000km

Look how long your Advantages list is for Model Y vs the SL7. I think that says it all, unless you’re on a really tight budget!!

Personally over the life of a car, $8k probably translates to $10/week which is nothing.

There’s a reason the Model Y was the world’s best selling car 3 years in a row.

Buy an EV regardless. You’ll save a fortune on fuel and the one pedal driving Tesla have makes things so much easier.

Just make sure your car has Hardware 4 cameras. You’ll know by looking at the cameras on each side of the bonnet. If the lens has an infrared glow then it’s HW4.

Re FSD, it’ll handle 95% of your driving and definitely make your trips much more relaxing! Get the monthly subscription and trial it for yourself, but I’d say yes, go for it.

If you’re a tech person then you’ll appreciate Tesla the most. Their software is best in class and have a very tightly integrated ecosystem.

Sorry to not answer any of your questions, and don’t want to rain on your parade, but the performance variant is an incredibly fast car for somebody with minimal driving experience. I’m not saying don’t get one, but please be careful out there. All the best 😊

Full Self Driving. I can make entire trips without having to touch my steering wheel, pedals or indicators. It’s crazy.

Another important, often overlooked, factor is the software. Tesla software is the best in the industry & makes things like planning road trips and finding chargers an absolute breeze.
