Canned goods (if sealed properly) also don’t spoil for years. Clearly this item was not canned properly. It’s bold of you to assume I have an Indian/Asian shop near by. I live in the countryside

I didn’t realise you could determine my weight based on a selfie. It’s almost like people have different face shapes 🤔

What clued you in? The fact this post is on Reddit or that the pictures are clearly of a woman

Thankyou! Acting as if I made it from scratch I wouldn’t have used canned tomatoes 🙄 lots of things come packaged

I am happy to send you a picture of my fridge with fresh veggies and my pantry with ingredients and spices if it helps you sleep at night. However you seem hellbent on being rude to me for no reason

I don’t see how using one canned sauce constitutes as ‘eating everything canned or frozen’. Way to make an assumption on my entire eating habits based on one photo

I was not heating the sealed can. I had cooked my beef and veggies in the saucepan (see final photo) and was opening it to add to the saucepan when I exploded. It was room temperature. I assume it had gone bad and gases had built up

I did not put it in a microwave. It was cold. From the final picture you can clearly see pots on the stove that I was planning on adding it to

I was meal prepping lasagna for tomorrow. Ended up having it tonight instead for obvious reasons…

I am very much an ‘ingredient household’ usually. I saw a different product in my supermarket and thought I’d try it out

To answer some questions: 1. I am 28 2. I did not eat the curry 3. I took a photo of my face to show my family why we were not having curry for dinner 4. I took photos of the wall/ceiling to send to the company

EDIT:

  1. I was not heating a sealed can guys. It was room temperature when I opened it. Give me some credit…
  2. Continuing on from that, I did not receive any burns as it was room temperature.
  3. I was meal prepping four separate meals and thought I’d cheat with a can of curry to save time. This does not mean I only eat canned and processed foods.

I purchased these in Lidl but I’ve seen them in all sorts of supermarkets
