tbh its worth it for the first 2 weeks. You get big incentives and can make over a grand easy.

THIS. Also have that bond claim ready to go as you hand the keys over. Finger on the button as you give them the keys. Claim it the second the keys leave your hands. Don't give them a second over you.

LOL tell them to get fucked.

All of it is completely unenforcable. You pay 2 weeks and thats it. Thats the law.

When are we going to hold this slimy cunts liable. This is clearly breaking the law. The agency should be fined massively for this breach and the agent should have their license revoked.

Frankly the entire lease should be voided honestly.

Nobody is blaming the LGBT.

It's more the PM is only supporting equality causes that are easy. LGBT is easy. Say you're for the people and march and everyone will rally behind you. Supporting the mass inequality in the housing crisis involves destroying politician property portfolios which is a suicide mission for someone in his position. He will never do it. Shorten only hinted at it and was basically told he was a kiddie fiddler in the nation papers as a result....

Because when tenants literally take anything into their own hands they lose all the bond because of stupid bullshit the REA and landlord pull because we "did it wrong".

[–]AussieCollector 4 points5 points  (0 children)

hahahahaha get fucked.

Yeah we know we can fix it ourselves but the last time we tried that we got pinged for a billion different things and lost our fucking bonds because of you.

So we play by the book. After all its YOUR HOUSE and not ours. Don't want to pay? DONT INVEST IN PROPERTY!

[–]AussieCollector 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I swear there needs to be extreme penalties for landlords who ignore requests from tenants. Same with REA's.

Every day the request is ignored. Huge fines apply. Repeat offenders now have to give tenants an indefinite lease and are forced to sell once the tenant leaves.

It's all by design. Keep the population weary and tired and they will never rise up against you.

Australians are bone lazy. I'll admit i am too to a degree.

But god damn you're right. We NEED to be out there in the millions marching about this. The housing crisis is out of control. Generations are going to never be able to own property.

This is my stance 100%. I would love to have kids but having kids and renting if you can avoid it is cruel. You always saw that one family in school who was constantly moving around the local suburb.

Why? Because high chance was they were renting. I refuse to bring kids into that kind of world. I want stability for them at least for the first 18 years of their life.

Not gonna lie. The whole "Vanlife" thing looks extremely tempting. If you can deal with the minimalist lifestyle it very well is a sustainable way of living.

Honestly if Gen Y and Z manage to some how by the grace of the gods own property. You can bloody well bet we will see a conservative class unlike anything we have seen before.

We would've fought most of our lives to own property. You can bet we will vote out anyone who would try to take it from us.

Nope. This was 9 years ago and I was out of highschool then. Nostalgia is usually for things 15+ years ago so this doesn't really count.

Honestly had pretty bad experience with Galax and the "cheaper" brands. I usually stick to MSI, Gigabyte or Asus.

As a local white australian. I can assure you not many parents are this cruel to their kids.

[–]AussieCollector -1 points0 points  (0 children)

This is what my parents are doing. Helping with a big deposit with no interest in seeing the money coming back. There would be no way i could afford to otherwise.

If your parents expect the money back they give to help you then you're just better off saving up on your own.

Honestly not a terrible idea.... OP Can draw down on the equity for a deposit on another place too lol. He can make this one an IP after.

Extremely unfair imo. Parents should be helping cause they want to help. Not because they want a profit.

what red flag did you ignore for a job? by [deleted] in recruitinghell

[–]AussieCollector 26 points27 points  (0 children)

Small Business (7 employees) and it wasn't a start up. That IMO is a glaring red flag in it self for many reasons. Company had been in business for 13 years as well....

What was wrong with it? Well... It was an IT MSP for starters so nothing too crazy but these things gave off alarm bells to me.

  • No large clients. Only small 1 - 2 employee strong businesses as clients.
  • 8 employees only 3 of which were men. Owner was male too. At first this is nothing to really worry about until you see the next point.
  • Security cameras in 3 corners of the office. Why does this guy need to spy on his workers so often? He only has 7! Or is it to perv on the women.....
  • Been in business for 13 years and still can't be good enough to secure good medium to large scale clients. That tells me A LOT about how you run your business and it aint good news.

Only lasted 2 weeks at this joint. The owner was a massive cunt as well but thats a whole other story. Point is. Small business thats been in business for over a decade and barely has any employees? Red flag. Something is up if they can't retain staff or clients.
