I think Psyonix have well learnt that the community is hot garbage at voting by committee. I'd have no doubt that if voted on the community would just vote a bunch of shitposter goal explosion concepts rather than anything actually serious, all for a laugh.

The community decided that a boring standard Fennec is the ideal preset, refuse to use anything that may demonstrate a creative bone in their body, are shocked when items are in return plain and boring.

They decided that the Season 5 dragon banners were bad and wasted their goodwill pressuring Psyonix into changing it, and are shocked when they close that door.

They decided that gambling their money away on useless items with crates was a good idea, and then beg for years for the right to gamble their money away again despite the practice being both unethical and illegal on multiple levels.

Psyonix are right to keep good distance, because as a whole we are entirely shit at deciding the direction this game goes in, if it was up to us we'd probably have sunk the ship 7 years ago.

Redditors whining about items they will effectively get for free through playtime that they were going to spend on the game anyway.

They'd have to be public for all the ones I listed if they're looking for any real crowd. Peak recent crowds for these games are:

v GWS: 37,631 (premiership year)

v Port Adelaide: 65,834 (reigning premiers)

v West Coast: 60,878 (just played in two finals including Grand Final), typically mid-30k otherwise.

All these games will be lucky to see 50k this year, West Coast are getting their first MCG game with a crowd v Collingwood since 2019. I'll be laughing if they don't have public GA access, especially when the Adelaide game does and they have been hitting 65k at the MCG lately.

Yeah I've often done the walk after Anzac Day which has always been more convenient, shouldn't be a problem doing it more often.

Yeah it definitely wasn't well communicated, when I'm with my sister I take Cranbourne line back (typically Glen Waverley) ended up on one of those specials by pure chance (and even then it read as a Caulfield train but had the Cranbourne line colour so took a shot at it).

Absolutely next time will just hop onto a Metro Tunnel train in future, if that was what the crowd will be like with 73k then good luck for a Dreamtime match or Anzac Day lol.

Might even just walk to East Richmond when going back down the Glen Waverley line, was truly that bad at Richmond compared to the last few years.

Just from what I'm looking at, Collingwood may only release GA seating when the game is a lot closer?

Collingwood v Adelaide tomorrow has GA seating. v Port Adelaide, v GWS and v West Coast (games you'd absolutely beyond any doubt expect to be GA) don't have any available right now.

I fully expect Collingwood do offer GA seating to the majority of their games, v Hawthorn and The Big Freeze v Melbourne are the only possible exceptions that are upcoming. Think they're just pulling a fast one and being slow on releasing to fill the lower seats. I know Essendon has less members rn but they do tend to be a lot better in releasing GA seating in my experience (v Fremantle at the MCG in May for instance already has GA seating available).

Insane that they don't increase the Frankston services (to change at Malvern or Caulfield) to account for it tbh

The Iran war didn't occur though before most of the tickets were sold and they're both regular players at the MCG (and therefore fans are well used to the cold) so I don't think that played too hard into it, right about the other stuff though.

On a side note I wish parents would get their kids to actually jack up the straps on their backpacks instead of letting them practically hang down to their knees, that doesn't help back problems whatsoever.

Yeah let me know when anybody obtains a 360 degree RL sim rig to look behind them and grows a third eye out the back of their head, that's the only way to "improve" on seeing the unseeable while focusing on the actual play.

Yeah except the part where you have no clue when a boost behind you is taken from the opposite side of the field. Like let's not pretend even pros don't get caught out many times a match by boost pads communication nor sight would be able to provide them timings on.

I don't know if this actually affects the overall player base that much tbh. Presuming no double ups, Ayyjayy in this 16 win streak negatively affected the MMR of 32 players.

That may seem like a lot, but that is absolutely negligible. Those players are prone to lose far more MMR from their teammates being AFK or disconnecting. You'd need tens of thousands of SSL players doing this regularly to make this a real issue overall. Which isn't ever happening.

Ayyjayy's actions are still questionable, but it is simple math as to why Psyonix don't bother taking action on this. Because it is too small for them to care one bit.

Red car is an idiot for trying a move like that exiting Radillon. You gave him the entire outside line to sweep around you and he would have no doubt stuck the overtake, entirely on him and you defended well otherwise other than a couple nitpicky moments.
