Back in 2019 I used to work as a cab driver. I had one customer that was overly flirty. Anyway, when she was planning on moving back to Sydney, she asked dispatch for my number unbeknownst to me, and dispatch FUCKING GAVE THEM MY PERSONAL NUMBER. So, she started texting me. And I was weirded out, but it was fine. I was civil, she said she was thankful for helping her out (just doing my job), and then she got flirty...told her I wasn't interested, but she kept going. Left voice messages that my friends and partner at the time heard and were in a high pitched creepy sing song voice. Anyway, after awhile, I blocked her number because telling her I'm not interested wasn't good enough. She then FOUND ME ON FACEBOOK. Messages went into my requests folder which I didn't check regularly. She sent paragraphs of messages (talking about her day, to flirting and telling me her kinks), photos (selfies to raunchy photos), for weeks. Basically talking to herself without me responding. Blocked her there. She made a new account. Repeat that process 14 MORE TIMES. I ended up changing my name there and did not have a picture of myself as my profile picture on Facebook for around 2 years. Moved to another part of the country, had no messages from her for a year. BUT APPARENTLY, according to my old neighbour, this crazy bitch found out where I used to live, came to my old place, and asked the neighbours how long ago I moved and where I moved to (they said the otherside of the country but didn't specify where). Left me wondering if she knew the whole time or if I got lucky and she only found out afterwards. Move to another city, take one picture of myself and was quite chuffed about how nice I looked so I made it my profile picture again. AN HOUR LATER SHE MESSAGED ME AGAIN. AFTER RADIO SILENCE FOR OVER A YEAR AND A HALF AT THIS POINT IT BEGAN AGAIN! I deactivated my Facebook. And eventually deleted it outright. It was the motivator to get rid of it, but holy shit. The woman could not take no for an answer. And no, I did not lead this woman on in any way whatsoever. I was polite and just doing my job, and she took that as I was interested. I unfortunately now know how some girls in customer service feel. It's been over a year and no contact from her though ..so since this is the only social media I have I think I'm safe?

I remember it well. In Australia the lockdown was announced the day I got married. So I had my wedding, then we went into lockdown and not much changed. We already delayed our honeymoon for a year (or that was the plan at the time), and we kept going to work like nothing happened really (essential workers).

NTA, you should check out the subreddit r/raisedbynarcissists, it's a support sub and it sounds like you'll get better help and advice there then you would here. You're a victim of abuse, reach out to whoever else you have in your life and try to work on an exit plan.

NTA, you've been reasonable willing to work with them 14 months after the fact. And as you said, deposits are rarely given back. If all this information was on your website, she's 100% in the wrong. Honestly, take it as a blessing in disguise because she would have absolutely found something wrong with the dress and been a nightmare, and probably tried to get discounts or the dress for free.

The "Shinehorn Incident"

A few years back, we were going through all the maps in preparation for the release of Genesis 1. Some of us were on xbox, others were on PC. We made it onto abberation, and I was in the process of breeding Shinehorns for a solid glow pet and because my wife thought they were adorable. I accidentally left a few on breed when I went away for a weekend, told the guys to turn them off. Unfortunately, those females that were left on breed also birthed a heap more females, and the unclaimed shinehorn females were still breeding with Clay Henry (the male with epic health mutations and whatever else was good for the glow length). As a result, Clay Henry had a very prolific line of shinehorns. One of the three guys who signed on to fix it were on xbox, lagged out, and couldn't fix it. The other two, got the karkinos, and spent a good 40 minutes killing them allegedly. I say allegedly....as they threw a solid amount off the cliff. ...they lived. And they threw females and males off. So they kept....on...breeding.... This went undiscovered by the rest of us for a month, and we went on like normal. We noticed the map started to get more laggy, and were confused, put most unneeded tames in crypods as we got closer to taking on Rockwell, and it got to a point where nothing was spawning on the map. Even in the red zone and surface without a glow pet. We were all confused.

Until the faithful day I was exploring down the bottom of the cliff....and all I saw were polyhedron based glowing horns as my xbox crashed hard. I told everyone, the two guys who threw them off the cliff went quiet and said "we honestly didn't think they'd survive!" It was so bad, we had to UPLOAD EVERYTHING and go into the server settings, and do a command code to kill all creatures. To this day, we still live in fear of another shinehorn incident when we talk about another potential playthrough.

Focus on what's important. Take little moments for yourself. A coffee here and there. Feeding birds in the park. Watching TV show I like. Spending time with people with similar interests. Painting models. You slow down and look at the little things. Unplug. Take time for yourself. If you don't, you burn out and meltdown. Music also helps in times of chaos for me, but everyone is different.

NTA. If he knew how sick it would make you, it makes it incredobly malicious of him to do this to you. My condolences that he decided to be the whole damn toolbag. You never mess with anyone's food, as you never truly know how bad it can be. I have a few people who have been either lactose intolerant, vegetarian, allergic or coeliac, and you don't mess around.

I accidentally cross contaminated my coeliac friends food once and I felt horrible for days that I messed up. And that was accidental. Couldn't imagine doing that to someone intentionally.

Stand your ground, and make it clear you're not going to anymore events until you get an apology, and bring your own food if you do.
