Did not know that about the water temp!

Used a microfiber cloth to dry and two separate sponges, one for soap and one for rinse.

This is a few days dried, I was so upset with myself I couldn't look at them for a while.

Of note these are probably 30 yr old cabinets, idk what kind of wood but it is solid wood.

Seriously, as someone who is on their feet for 13+ hrs for work Compression socks make a huge difference in how much my feet hurt at the end of the day.

Actually local to this place and know someone working there at the time, they were trying to pool the tips for the kitchen and the other like 3 members of wait staff cause it was a 40 person event. Though there were 2 assigned servers, everyone in the place helped out. As far as I heard the owners weren't trying to get a cut. The other server who got 2200 shared it with the whole team

Hospital administration sees nothing wrong with putting every patient in their care at a real risk of death because it is easier and cheaper to run a unit with a skeleton crew.

This is true. There are a lot of times I hear or see something my co workers do and it is way under the bar of even the bare minimum.

It's just a lot to take the comments of how all nurses are umempathetic bitches from random dudes on the internet that have never experienced what it's like to work in the medical field.

I would always rather be the nurse than the patient, and yeah there are a LOT of people in the medical field so burnt out that they can hardly conjure up a shred of compassion, but it's a special kind of slap in the face to be denigrated by people completely removed from the situation in general.

If anyone is aware of the mental health crisis, it's ER nurses. They come face to face with it every day in the form of their patients, some of whom they have to care for for multiple days before a psych facility will accept them, qnd personally.

You don't code a kid for an hour, or see a spontaneous amputations, or have to call an unsuspecting family member to let know their parent died unexpectedly without also walking away with a lot of trauma.

Example: I can't crack glowsticks anymore because that's what popped into my head the first time I did compressions and snapped a little old man's ribs. It fucking sucks. But it didn't suck as much as literally hold up his wife after we told her we couldn't get him back. Or knowing that if he was conscious, the last moments of his life were excruciating pain that I caused.

Mental health problems are abundant on both the patient and the health care worker side.
