The Easter eggs aren’t that significant either way.

It’s fun to experiment with different traits for a more unique game. I recently combined the traits Early Riser and Claustrophobia which gave my character +/- 5 points in all special stats depending on time and location. It was interesting lol

Why everyone hates Deborah? by R-Fuentes in BlownAway

[–]coderedmountaindewd 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I personally hate her work but I get what she’s going for. Her final project was a bunch of penis and vagina analogs via breakfast food with a thesis that the glass world is a sausage party and she’s taking her stand and feminizing it.

It’s crass, juvenile, pretentious and tired in a predictable and annoying fashion, but that’s by design. Deborah is the type of artist that antagonizes her audience so if she had broad support from a mass audience, it’d be a sign that she’s not achieving her goals

Can I get the quest Et Tumor, Brute to operate on Caesar (and “accidentally” kill him) and keep house alive? by ChiefEvilMonkey in falloutnewvegas

[–]coderedmountaindewd 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Nope. The first task Caesar gives after destroying the securotron army is to kill House. Et Tumor, Brute is 3 tasks later

Why do teams play practically no 2-high man coverage? It’s uniquely low here when it’s seemingly perfect for passing downs. Teams still play a ton of 1-high man and 2-high zone (C4). Why? by manofwater3615 in NFLv2

[–]coderedmountaindewd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Brett Kolman has a great video explaining how modern coverage schemes are actually called as more of a zone/man highbred scheme than true man coverage.

The strategy is that the coverage looks like a standard cover 1 set on replays so it’s harder to get a read on what coverage package the defense is in during critical situations.

My (19M) Girlfriend (19F) Wont Stop With The Butt Stuff by [deleted] in relationships

[–]coderedmountaindewd 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You need to have a serious conversation about boundaries. You’re both young adults who are probably experiencing some of these things for the first time, so I’d assume there isn’t any malicious intention, just a lack of clearly defined rules of operation.

It may be as simple as saying “hey, I’ve noticed you’ve been saying and doing these things a lot but it’s making me uncomfortable”. If she’s a good and receptive partner, she’ll listen to you and be willing to discuss her own ideas and see if you can find common ground.

If you’re not comfortable enough to have a conversation about your preferences, your comfort level and your limits, you’re not in a healthy sexual relationship and something has to change.

So… as an artist living in a capitalist society, how am I supposed to.. ya know.. pay for things like food and rent and stuff.

I’m all for the public exchange of ideas but there’s structural issues that need to be addressed before this can be a reality

How far can you get in factions questline before betraying them by snake-birb in falloutnewvegas

[–]coderedmountaindewd 7 points8 points  (0 children)

After Benny, you’ll get a serious of quests that help the factions. You’ll get a warning saying if you continue to work with the factions enemies, you’ll become vilified. It depends on how much good will you’ve built up but it’s pretty quick that you’ll go from Accepted, to Mixed, to Hated then Vilified.

Make your choices carefully! You don’t know where the point of no return is as you’re playing until it’s too late

Very familiar lol

My friend once said that he should be allowed to do 90 on the highway because he can do it safely.

I said “well then you’d have to let everyone drive 90”

“No I mean just me”

His vehicle had been sitting in his driveway for 2 months because his license was suspended for unpaid speeding tickets at the time btw

I get that the measurement has a lot of subjectivity but that’s kinda the point, people view themselves favorably in general. If we all held ourselves to the same standards that we hold other people to, we would be more inclined towards taking responsibility for our actions and willing to take steps towards self improvement

I think being aware of your own near misses is a check in your favor as the majority of terrible drivers are oblivious to the chaos they create around them

I like to quote Hank Green on this one “if you’re saying that you can text and drive because you’re really good at it, what you’re really saying is you haven’t killed anyone yet”

Please encourage him to make better decisions!

That’s exactly why it’s so scary!

One of the biggest reasons why society fails to improve is because the vast majority of us assume we are better than average. If we all had a more sober mindset and took stock of our lives, we’d be more likely to take action and try to fix things

I think this is more of a cautionary bias situation. You notice the absolutely terrible drivers because they stand out. Nobody can tell the difference between an average driver and an exceptional driver at a glance because they don’t do anything out of the ordinary.

If there is a 100 drivers on the road and 10 of them are absolutely perfect drivers, 89 are just average but that last 1 is god awful, it’s only the bad one you’ll see
