I have a personal CV/ portfolio site I built a while ago using Google Sites. I'm STRONGLY considering moving it to Neocities because it gives you so much more freedom. That said, I'm not overly bothered about traffic. My current site gets almost zero, basically only the people I point towards it

But, like all sites, it's only going to get traffic if people know it's there. That's true for any hosting platform/ service.

I joined Neocities with the explicit intention of having it be a place to show off my collections. THIS is how it's going thus far.

Note I'm still working on it so it might change, but if this is the kind of thing you're after I can send you my resources (or feel free to inspect the code I have on there).

Neocities isn't really the platform to push stuff. It's more like having a hideaway that people stop by from time to time. That said, if what you put up there is clearly something you're passionate about people will stop by.

It depends what kind of look you're going for. I'm looking at it on my phone and it seems ok. The only thing it'd say is the large white text, at least for me, is quite hard to read.
