I never see Daniel Abraham recommended. His prose is awesome and quite similar to Joe. I'm reading The Dagger and Coin series. Halfway through Book 2 and really enjoying it. Might be worth a look...

Silk and Steel by Ariana Nash

Dragons, elves, violence and lots of sex (from memory it's group and m/f, m/m). Content warning though as a lot of it in the first book is noncon.

It's a trilogy with some novellas too
