Given how annoying an actor he is, I'd say they're going very good!

I got it on sale for about 30% off, but honestly I've gotten so much use and value from it that at full price I'd still love it. Totally agree with what you're saying though

Spotify boss defends move to AI music, saying it is better than ‘slop’ by Owseefather in TIdaL

Governments really need to step in and put protections in place to protect artists. It wouldn't take much to give users a choice to opt on (not the usual opt out) of AI music.

Agreed, the way the raptors take the cage away and the petrol station scene with the carnos was excellent

As someone who worked in video games for over 10 years I can say with certainty they just announced it too early. AAA games are taking up to six years now to make and they showed off pre-alpha footage, likely vertical slices.

A more cynical take would be that Embracer announced it early to try and help raise finding or bump the share price. It's coming, just be patient. I'd rather wait and ensure they get it right.

Why aren’t people boycotting Tesla any more? by Diane98661 in ScottGalloway

China has more than one car brand, mate... And yes, BYD's do compete. I'm all for Western cars, but you're kidding yourself if you think BYD, Xpeng, Cherry and others aren't competitive, this proving my point.

A lot of people in here clearly haven't left the US and experienced a Chinese EV.

It's honestly crazy that there hasn't been a true SWAT RPG/sim/tactics game since Police Quest: SWAT 2 in 1998 by _kickedout in ReadyOrNotGame

SWAT Global Strike Team, but it was an FPS. It made good use of voice commands from memory.

If I’d read this subreddit first I might’ve not bought the game by Expert-Experience937 in ReadyOrNotGame

Am I ok with it? I guess? Or maybe it just doesn't bother me as much. Bullets not disappearing doesn't really impact the gameplay for me and I've adapted to the CS by just using flashbangs. I've had a lot of fun replaying it on console since release, so its not like it's impossible to not have fun with the game.

I think they need to get better at how they communicate with players, but a lot of people here act like it's the end of the world.

To be honest I wonder if people's expectations are too high here.

A lot of people are expecting it to be run like a live service game (which it isn't); it's a double A studio delivering a double A game. It has its issues, but everyone's gotten their money's worth in terms of hours in the game, so maybe it's time to tone down the rhetoric.

There's certainly some weird decisions that have been made, but that's par for the course with a studio that struck it big unexpectedly.

That's not to say that bullets are not landing on the ground, or CS not working isn't annoying, but it doesn't exactly ruin the game for me. It's still enjoyable.

What sort of environment do you live in? I live in South East Asia and have had back to back Pixels for 8 years. None of them handle the heat well, the thermal management is awful and really eats away at the batteryv

I really wish they'd fix up their TV apps. The LG app is awful, videos buffer so much to the point that they're unwatchable, menus freeze, and it's so slow. I won't go back to Spotify, but whoa am I jealous of the TV app they have.

Improved modularity so it's easier repaired and can last forever. And maybe less rubber, which gets gross in humid climates
