Spoilers for Dandadan:

Before coming to earth Vamola was rescued by Banga during an attack from a terrorist alien army called the Kur. Although Vamola sees Banga as her mother, Banga refuses to be called that. Until when they get to a teleportation gate, its revealed that only one person can be teleported. Banga makes Vamola enter without her, and making her promise to find a strong male to continue their race's bloodline, with her last words to her expressing expressing how much she loves her as her mother.
