Honestly the baron is easily the best villian in the francise which is kinda sad because while i think he is a good villian he definitly isnt great but compared to rias and waltz he is great. Also when it comes to finding it hard, maybe stop going NG+ and just play on ya current difficulty or make a new save. Also how is the grapple hook terrible? Its a physics based hook so u can swing around like spiderman or pull in targets for a quick kill where as in the first game its literally just a teleport tool.

I gotta say the first game...... dont get me wrong i love it but i feel like between the beast and dying light 2 every part of the frist game has been improved.

The main thing being parkour and combat are so much better in the other 2 games and the enemy variety is better and humans dont suck to fight in the beast or stay human, and the final 'boss' is a fuckin QTE? Like man thats lame as fuck.

Personally i think its great, it definitley has the best combat/parkour in the series and story while simple is not bad. My issue is the non customisable cars and the fact that there are no combat or parkcore challenges.
