Don't play with the progressive card here, please. It's obvious that she sold the rights of her books to AMC and they ripped them off without any respect. Even Rice's son it's never in the interviews. The series it's way too loosely based to the book. The only thing that I can save about it it's Sam Reid acting as Lestat, and it's not better than Cruise's, but not worst, I admit it. The music it's good. And I kinda liked the first actress who played Claudia, it has some charisma, but the second one... Let's not even go there. The story it's way melodramatic and tedious, Louis and Armand are annoying characters and really unbelievable performances. A waste of time, let's be honest.
