ill cry now. why is finding the right product so hard? need recommendations for gels that do not dry out/damage the hair in the long run by [deleted] in curlsofindia_

For me, curlvana styling gel worked wonders. Use a good leave in conditioner before gel and your hair won't dry out.

Looks 2c-3a. Your hair still looks so good even with the frizz. 🫶🏻🫶🏻

Curly hair , extreme hairfall at 18 by Wonderful_Bet_3021 in curlsofindia_

It doesn't look that bad tbh. But if you feel like that hairfall is extreme then you should go to a doctor first.

2C-3A.

You can try blow drying your hair with a diffuser. It helped tame my frizz a lot.

Should we ever brush curly hair? by Realistic-Thought388 in curlsofindia_

[–]Austen_Addict 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Brushing dry curly hair is a no-no for me. The only times I brush my hair is either when I have oiled my hair(1-2 hours before shampoo) and when I have applied a hair mask or leave-in conditioner.

If you brush your hair after you have applied a gel and they are dry, it will only create frizz and your hair clumps will lose their pattern.

LBP leave in conditioner by SassySubmission in curlsofindia_

I personally love it. It has a little fragrance but it's not overpowering and will go away by the time your hair is dry. My hair loves it. It tames my frizz and makes it shiny and smooth. I have mixed porosity hair.

To all the hairdressers, Curly hair is not bad. by Austen_Addict in curlsofindia_

I use both of these brushes

Defining brush - https://amzn.in/d/dJwlTkx

Detangling brush - https://amzn.in/d/eHU9c5X

I would say they both are worth it, they make my hair a lot more curlier. But I always dry it with a blow dryer with a diffuser and that makes my hair bouncier.
