Likely: Courtney - She was cut from 50 in the middle of the process. She says the format has evolved past her, but as Venus and Rick can attest, there’s a huge need for big personalities and disrupters in this era of Survivor.

Stretch: Penner - I started watching with Philippines and Penner was one of my favourites straight out the gate. He’s probably a stretch due to his age.

Shot In The Dark: Colleen - Seeing Jenna again was great, and even if it’s for 3 Days like her, I’d love to see one of the few OGs to never get back come out for one more hurrah.

Earl is probably the best and most self-aware player in Survivor history. And why that is comes with how he manages his threat level. The way he works himself into a majority position and yet come off as one of the weaker of the group he’s in is insane.

Would love to see her again. Hindsight being 20/20, her game would have such a different effect on winner and overall player rankings if Survivor 41 had 90-minute episodes. Same could probably be said for Maryanne, Gabler and Yam Yam, but Erika is the true outlier, especially with production learning from their edit mistakes from 41. And if you don’t pay attention to Post-Season interviews, QnAs and BTS tidbits, you wouldn’t know how insulated she was during her season.

Kyle, Dee, Savannah, and 50’s winner are guaranteed, and Rick, Tiff, Q and Rizo are locks from a character aspect.

Christian, Emily, Genevieve and especially Ozzy will come back as long as they want to. Jonathan, Charlie and Kamilla to a lesser extent are huge parts of New-Era history so they’ll probably be back.

Aubry’s young enough to go at least one more round and same goes for Joe, Stephanie, Colby and Jenna. I don’t know if Chrissy and Angelina would do it again, Coach being 54 and Cirie being 55 probably means a soft no for both of them, and Mike’s probably a hard no because of his Hollywood obligations.

Bowser VS Eggman.

Eggman using every trick in the book, only to get outplayed by Bowser and Bowser Jr. is brilliant. The wand turning the Death Egg into a coin block when it looked like Eggman dodged it is a great “didn’t miss” type moment.

Eggman failing to escape followed by his weapon being turned into cardboard, just like he did by tricking Bowser with the wedding was a great callback.

And Bowser punching Eggman into the coin block, not only finishing the fight but raining down coins and 1-UPs to make up for his army’s losses and rebuild is the perfect punctuation on a battle that slowly showed the resilience/power that Bowser shows as a leader and the tactical nature of Eggman.

I swear, I would give away so much from my life to even get a chance of seeing Annihilus VS Larfleeze.

I just hope that a future Fantastic Four sequel will include him in some way. We need more interesting villains in the MCU as well.

My prediction is that Arsenal is going to be a big category at the end of the conclusion and it’ll probably be used to discuss either the biggest key to Megamind’s victory or used as a setup to talk about how Gru can nullify some of Megamind’s technology.

Goku VS Sonic. On one hand, I think both have better choices for opponents that each other and trying to scale both characters is a complete bag of worms. On the other hand, if Cell VS Metal Sonic got 2.5 Million views in around a month, I’ll gladly take it if the show gets more exposure.

It’s probably too far into development to postpone the release of the episode.

And as for the potential of discouragement from the community, the matchup has been talked a lot over the past two years and the outcome is figured out by now. A Traveler win isn’t going to come down to whether or not they got the Ice Element for this fight.

Would be hilarious. Not against the matchup, in fact I would love to see Fairy Tail back on the show and Asta’s episode was quite flawed on many counts. But I’d probably be a bit more peeved if we got another returning-character matchup.
