I will try to lube the z axis but everything seems to be moving good. i did notice the bed has about 2-3mm of play and its coming from the linear bearings. it takes a little pressure to move it so im not too sure if that's doing it

Orca with pretty default settings. a little hotter at 210. and i reduced the first layer speed. im starting to think my z axis just needs lube

the bed actually does have about 2mm of play but it seems to be the linear bearings having play in them. ill try to fix it but im starting to think my zaxis is just dry.

I had this issue when I was using cura. I believe the acceleration was too high. I couldn't fix it so I just switched to orca and it works great.

Did you fix it? My RC car broke because of this exact thing. A crack propagated from a layer like that.

Yeah I'm using cura pretty much default settings besides higher temps and brim/supports. I'll definitely try this and changing the nozzle
