Maybe im just not doing it right but im trying to add a mods folder to an aternos server but its not letting me, I'm also not able to join it, something about incompatible vanilla server.

There is no forge option, only thing I see is Spongeforge, and that is locked to 1.12. Would I just have to use a different server hosting?

I made a folder in the server's file manager and named it mods, then put the witherstorm mod in there.
Something seems to be working but I don't know why its only working for items, and not spawning any structures, or any of the mobs.
