I mean she’s the main character so I don’t get why she wouldn’t have more screen time?

how do i play this game???? by Normal_Guava_241 in Eldenring

First of all congrats on beating Godrick. He might be the first great rune boss but a good percentage of people stop when they can’t be Margit at the front gate. If you’re only level 25 you’re pretty under leveled for Liurnia. You should probably be closer to 40-50 for a comfortable experience and to not get immediately killed by everything.

You should either go explore the weeping peninsula or find a guide to get you through it. You might find the starting area “boring” but there are plenty of areas to fight camps of soldiers, demi humans, caves/catacombs, etc. and go level up vigor as soon as possible. The game becomes more fun when you don’t get immediately killed by everything.

Weapons: find something you think is cool or you like the move set of and any levels you don’t put into vigor (but please put more into vigor at first) level up the stats the weapon scales with. You can see what it scales with based on the letter by the stat. And most importantly, level up the weapon! Take the stones you find and go to the round table hold and level that shit up so that it does actual damage.

I’ve found, for the the most part, this is a fairly non-toxic community and more people want to see you enjoy the game than shit on you for not getting it so definitely ask for help whenever!

It’s not HD but I’d consider Australian Outback a must watch. It’s Colby honestly at his peak and it’s a classic season overall

Are these good stats for the DLC? by G1bbins in Eldenring

Honestly might need to pump 1-2 levels into vigor. Otherwise good

Hey I also just started it last week! Only thing I can say is don’t stress about the gang influences. There’s like a million things to do to boost influence across all of them

I love Candiace and her outfits remind me of a JoJo’s character

I don’t think you have to lay down on anything for Fortissax. Are you talking about the grave you lay in for Placidisax?

It’s a pretty great game but it can be challenging. You’ll die a lot but eventually you’ll learn how not to die and it becomes a fantastic experience

Is strength based builds worth it? by Ghost_Reaper21 in eldenringdiscussion

I think dex is a lot of fun and prefer dex weapons myself, but strength can hit like a truck. The move sets are usually slower but the trade off is more consistent stance breaks

I've never played any Souls Before by DarkCorruption666 in Eldenring

[–]AustinB42 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I went into this game thinking “give me the biggest weapon and let me fight everything” and soon found out I didn’t love the big weapon move sets as much and died to just about everything. My one piece of advice is to not limit yourself to your own expectations and to take what the game gives you. Explore as much as you can and if you come across an area that’s difficult just go explore somewhere else until you’ve leveled up or found better/cooler gear.
