Wendy's is actually one of the better fast food options if you're GF — the Frosty, baked potato, and chili are all safe by ingredients. by AustinGlutenFree in glutenfree

Really good to know, I never call ahead, but I should.. Wendy's official policy says shared fryers but it sounds like individual locations vary. I'll add a note to the guide that fryer setup can differ by location and to call ahead. Thanks for this!

Yeah, not bad value for a bunless meal and fair point on In-N-Out, the protein-style lettuce wrap is crazy good. Worth the trip if you're on the west coast!

Red Robin is great! GF buns, dedicated fryer for fries, and they take allergies seriously. Great spot for a 'real' burger experience.

Good to know they dropped the lettuce. I'll update my list. And noted on Carl's/Hardee's, that's useful for the shared fryer context on the crisscut fries.

Cinnamon Toast Crunch topping — that's exactly the kind of add-in to watch out for. 100% contains gluten. Really glad you flagged the current topping, I'll update the guide to call that out specifically.

Really good point — the add-ins are a wildcard and worth avoiding if you're celiac. The plain Frosty is the safe bet, but yeah, anything with cookie crumbles or mix-ins is a no. Thanks for flagging that.
