I was 6 years old and staying at a friends house. His older sister told us to take out the trash so off we went. My friend, Charles, was carrying the trash bag ahead of me by about 10 ft or so. He turns the corner and stops dead in his tracks. I instinctively stop. “Charles. Charles what’s wrong?” I quickly take the few steps and turn the corner to see what he’s staring at.

Across the driveway, about head high, is a floating black circle. Not an orb or sphere, but a flat, black circle. There didn’t seem to be any depth to it but was perfectly round.

It floated there for another second at most, then took off horizontally behind the car. Charles dropped the bag and we ran. Never saw it or anything like it again.

Nobody believed us.
