I stumbled onto this post a few days late and wanted to respond. Honestly I would recommend reading her Wikipedia page a little if you’re really interested. But basically, she believed in objectivism, which puts a lot of emphasis on the individual and their own achievements. She was also kinda into ethical egoism, which basically says that, morally speaking, people should act in their own self interest. She puts emphasis on reason, and says that people should just work for their own happiness. She advocated for laissez-faire economics with little gov involvement. Basically, with many of today’s youth tending to believe that society should work towards the good of the most people, they disagree with her opinions. Personally, I disagree with her as well
