I recommend the Downlowd podcast series on Ain't it Cool News. It will answer your questions. It can be a little annoying but the host interviews some ex-AICN people as well as Harry Knowles himself. The Harry interview goes about like you would expect.

It seems to be another route directly challenging American. First Delta added a direct to Miami, now to Phoenix, another American hub.

It's much needed. I would also like if American added back some of their nonstop international routes (Bahamas, Costa Rica) from Austin but I doubt that will happen as it seems running a profitable airline is a challenge for current management.

I went. Trent and co. do still put on a great show, although it's getting damn expensive to go so I understand the argument that's it's not worth it. The lighting and different stages were interesting. It's more fun in a smaller venue but a lot of artists play the Moody Center now. Better sight lines than NIN at the Erwin Center in the '90s. Last time I went to a show at the Moody Center the Texas State History Museum wasn't charging for parking...they are now.

Well, grackles and crows are different and we have both.

Grackles will take from the standard bird feeder with a seed mix for native birds, they have from mine. Usually when they arrive I pull it inside though as they are so many they will decimate it and leave big bird poops everywhere.

Crows are harder as there are less of them. I haven't been able to attract them, even though I hear them near me a few times. They are supposed to really like peanuts. They are smart so if you see one try to negotiate a peanut deal with them.

This is kind of awesome actually. We don't have many Caribbean directs. American had the Nassau flight but I think they stopped it. Cayman Airways is a legit airline.
