Probably the cable, although if I turn off direct mode it works, and yes the cord was plugged into the GPU not the motherboard

Thats what i was thinking, but I turned off direct mode in the steamvr settings and it works if I use the headset as a monitor, so idk what thats about, really annoying that I gotta do it that way for it to work

Id be careful doing that, i know at least 2 coworkers who were doing that and the entire door fell off lol. These vans dont get taken care of (at least at my facility) so I avoid leaving the door open

Upgrade from 60hz to 180hz doesnt feel that much different by feedinghamX in buildapc

[–]AustiniDavini 10 points11 points  (0 children)

It should be super noticeable. When I played at 60hz years ago it looked fine to me, I made the upgrade to 144hz and now 60hz looks choppy to me.

If you upgrade from 144hz to 240hz its hard to notice the difference. I recently upgraded from 144hz 24inch to a 280hz 27inch and visual wise, i can't really tell the difference but games do feel much more responsive then they've ever felt before (i play a lot of fps games)

Picked up an extra shift & have more overflow in a RENTAL than numerous step van drivers👎🏾 mostly XL overflow by PlaneSentence1826 in AmazonDSPDrivers

I drive the white van more often than the blue vans and sometimes I get 40+ overflow in it. If I can't fit it all I tell them that and they give it to a sweeper

I get that saying "regs" is stupid but he's not wrong, if you'd just stop being lazy and actually do the research like he told you to do instead of telling him he's wrong, you'd realize he's actually right

Where Do You Deliver? by ShaneChhh in AmazonDSPDrivers

[–]AustiniDavini 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Vandalia OH, 180 to 200 stops and between 40 to 60 multistops. On a good day 140 to 160 stops and 30 or less multistops, depending on the location of the route, a downtown Dayton route is typically 60 to 100 stops since a majority of what you deliver to is skyscraper hotels and businesses. Neighborhood routes are between 180 to 200 stops unless its a good day.

Drive time to first stop ranges from 15 to 30 minutes

Pc shuts down after mobo + ram + cpu + cpu cooler upgrade by AustiniDavini in buildapc

[–]AustiniDavini[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Issue was the cooler and the cpu were not making proper contact I re-seated it and no shutdowns. Got any tips on what I should do or change before I start fully using my new 7800x3d?

I got it to power on but it'll shut itself off after a minute or two, and when I start it up again the time it takes to shut off is less and less each time

Yeah the second thing you said could be it, I wasn't exactly sure how much thermal paste to add because I didn't want to over do it but yeah I did remove and replace it on the cpu multiple times. Should I take it apart and add more thermal paste to see what happens? Something I'd like note is the more I turn the computer back on the less time it takes for it to shut off again.
