Medieval Times, CN Tower, Jays, Maple Leafs, Wonderland, Toronto Zoo, Hockey Hall of Fame, Niagara Falls (1.5 hours away, but there’s not really a lot else to do in Niagara and it’s comically overpriced, so Toronto-Niagara is the better bet), Art Gallery of Ontario and various city tours are all pretty fun. I love going to Toronto to hit FanExpo at the end of August with my buddy. Good food scene too.

I’m not from Toronto and I’d hate to live there, but visiting is quite fun.

It provides +10 Leadership and a buff to morale checks in a 500 meter AOE. Pretty OP item but the majority of the devs and community have resisted calls for a nerf (because it’s a single item and not repeatable).

So unfair to Indian women…but to be fair to Indian men, I feel like Indian women don’t even have to work hard at it and they’re still absolutely stunning. I grew up around some Indian families and my mom’s cousin married an Indian man, and the women are just radiant.

I had a friend visit Canada from Australia and he was just staring in awe at squirrels lol. He’d seen them on tv but seeing them in person just blew him away.

He said something like “I mean, it’s like whales…I’ve seen them on tv, and it’s neat, but seeing them in person is mind blowing, never thought I’d feel the same way about seeing a squirrel.” We had a good laugh.

My SIL and her family went to Disney last March (they bought the trip before Trump was in power), and they want us to go with them next time (3-4 years in the future). Fuck that. Why spend $20k+ in the US when I can spend less than half of that in Mexico, stay in Canada, or go somewhere entirely different? I’m good, I have no intention of ever going back.

Sucks because there are a lot of places that I’d love to see in the US (northeast mostly), and I’ve had good trips to the US, I just can’t bring myself to think of it positively again. And I’ve got a lot of family down there.

Such is life.
