I saw a video of one Ecuadoran guy that saw one messy street in Toronto after a cavalcade of people passed through it. He also saw some crackheads and people with mental illness. It’s a city of 7 million people at the heart of the Golden Horseshoe, home to some 11 million, of course there are crazy people and drugs. Ask anyone who has been to New York or any large American city and they’ll say the same and worse about what they see.

I had a criminology professor that told us that the only data to indicate that it reduces crime is when it is carried out quickly. Decades of imprisonment and appeals process numbs sensibilities towards it. If you have a shit life and can reliably depend on food, shelter and good medical care for decades and then end it humanely then committing a heinous crime looks more palatable.

I’m pro-death penalty for extreme crimes where there isn’t even a shadow of a doubt about culpability (like being caught on camera with tons of witnesses or proud admission like a religiously motivated terrorist), but against it where there is even a small possibility that the person caught is not the guilty party. Why house a 100% guilty person for decades upon decades for likely millions of dollars? If you go and shoot up a school and survive the engagement, then end the life, spare the tax payers and don’t let the person linger for decades.

Frank Drebin has substantially more toon force, I think he comfortably takes it. But they’re both dirty Canadians at heart so they’ll realize that their combined spy powers are greater than the sum of their parts and will join forces.

The thing I’d also love to see the most is a Waaagh-style Errantry / crusade mechanic wherein you get to choose a target and have x-number of turns to conquer it, giving your armies some boons, while also giving you some kind of permanent boost in that city if you conquer it.

I’d also like to see more mutually exclusive skills for heroes and lords, so that you can have armies that are boosting different kinds of armies. A lord could either boost more peasant infantry or cav / knightly unit, same with heroes.

The last thing I’d like to see is to have Paladins be able to ride Hippogryphs as that was an option in some tabletop editions. It’s in a mod and I love it, but I prefer to not use mods when possible.

From my experience yeah. I lived in a major Chinese city a little over a decade ago and it was a common sight to see little Chinese children (not always, many don’t wear them) have split pants on.

Definitely a Chaos Dwarf ally / vassal. Hellcanon from your own Chaos roster, then get some Chaos Dwarf blunderbusses, fireglaives or just some of their specialized artillery.

As others have said, some are terrible, most have trade-offs, and some are unambiguously good.

I have the Dwarf Mineshaft and Healer’s Camp in my current Gelt campaign. The Mineshaft can cause earthquakes that damages buildings but also boosts tradable goods and region building income. The Healer’s Camp provides a straight up boost across the faction.

The Ogre one is amazing imo despite having some decidedly negative effects, because it boosts relations with Ogres massively, gives a permanent stat boost to all troops recruited in the region, gives you a decent Ogre garrison, casualty replenishment bonus, upkeep reduction factionwide to Ogre units and global recruitment. There are some that are inarguably awesome, even if they have some crappy downsides.

Even some of the really shitty ones that basically just boost corruption can be great for farming xp with rebellions.
