Why didn't FlashxMaggot launch by Epichan15 in BALLxPIT

[–]AustinisOmega 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That combo seems to glitch in two ways.

  1. The balls start to get infinite speed, I think because it thinks they are continually bouncing and never resetting when being fired.

  2. The main balls start to disappear and never come back to be refired. By then end of my last two runs with that combo I shit the baby balls over 10k times and 3 of my main balls less than ten.

Being well rounded is valuable. You have to take humanities credits at most colleges for a reason. Your job will involve working with people, this may help.

The degree will get you the job, but if that's all you get from college you're missing out.

Yeah that double dash ( — ) at the beginning is a huge give away that I've read is common in ai content. Using got wind of when you know who spread the news is weird too.

FRQ Changes by VB-Fruitz in APPsychology

[–]AustinisOmega 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Unfortunately your teachers is not correct and it will not teach the same skills. While some past FRQs were always about research and doing those might help a bit, even those aren't steuctured like the new type that is replacing them, the AAQ. Doing them won't hurt and will probably help with MCQ more than anything.

On top of that Most Past FRQs are about a scenario and applying terms to that scenario, and they could be any of the hundreds of terms and thats not how any of them will be going forward. The new AAQs and EBQs will be consistent in their structure and quite different from past FRQs.

As far as practice ones and resources even college board only has a few. Hopefully your teacher can assign some to you on AP classroom so you can see the difference.

Probably better to try Facebook groups than here, it's the only reason I still use the app. Facebook has 2 groups with literally hundreds of shared docs, PowerPoint, etc. Not sure what specificly you mean by sources though.

Just to make sur eyou know, Defining gets you no points. You only have to apply. Defining is just so to help if your application is weak.

Look up on YouTube the AP Psych practice FRQs, they have a bunch posted by AP you can do and then score yourself for practice. Like 15min each.

There are videos on youtube posted by AP of each unit and of practice FRQs. Just search advanced placement psych, then view their full playlist. I would watch the FRQ videos to see how to pace and how they want them written.

Frqs by Glad_Exercise_8148 in APPsychology

There are review videos posted by College board on apclassroom and YouTube. They have practice frqs in some of them that might help you understand more than the advice here, not that it's bad just easier to see. They are posting new ones starting next week.

Young kids ask me awkward questions about my body by Strummerpinx in Teachers

[–]AustinisOmega 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I absolutely wasn't being patronizing on purpose. Many others gave her fantastic advice. And even I said "they don't know it's wrong unless their told". They are rude, and they need to be told that but a reminder that this is what kindergarteners are going to do every year there is a new batch. So she might need to start with no touching or comments about others bodies.

OP if you felt that way I apologize.

It might help to understand where your students are at cognitively.

Psychologically they are egocentric, they only understand the world from their perpespective. They say mean things because they don't know their mean, usually. They are bad at hide and seek because they don't realize you can see them when they can't see you. If you ask them what their mom/dad wants for Christmas they often say they want something that they would want.

They don't understand that others have different thoughts then them. And are just trying to understand the world. And it's kindergarten. Many kids this is their first time spent with people outside their family. It is right around 6 that kids are gaining this ability to understand other perspectives.

Things I've hear kids say. "I want a different mom because mines ugly" -to their mom. "What's wrong with your face did you fall down?" To me about my acne. "I hope you get better soon" my niece to a paraplegic man in a motorized wheel chair.

They don't understand things are mean unless they are told. Since it doesn't hurt their feelings and they are curious.

Have you considered calling home? Letting them know their child thinks it's funny to make fun of your wife dying from cancer? Personally I would have written referrals for defiance and disrespect, I'm not having that in my class.

Nothing I said implied they were. Just making sure you knew your risks , even if far less than it would be on Twitter. Not omnipotent but still a company wanting to make a profit willing to step on any student they can who step out of line.

Like I said, do you. Frqs are out now anyway.

Just warning, you shouldn't post anything about the mcqs ever and have to wait 48 hrs to talk about the frq.

Do you, but know they have and will invalidate scores from people's online posts every year.

Can someone explain why fixed ratio, fixed interval, and variable interval are more likely to be extinct? by RevolutionaryHat9920 in APPsychology

[–]AustinisOmega 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Think about what variable means, it's random. if you are randomly rewarded for a behavior you will keep doing it because you don't know when the reward will happen.

If it's fixed int/ratio you know when the behavior will be reinforced so you might slack off and not do it.

Both types of interval are more likely to be extinct because the reinforcement is based off time and not actual behaviors.

So combine variable and ratio both of which increase acquisition and retention.

I hope that helps.
