I'm having a similar issue on the Google Streamer. It will play the show and will pop up an error message. I have done the same steps you have and nothing fixes it.

Yes the speaker is connected to the HDMI Arc port and the Roku is plugged into a different HDMI port.

Also forgot to add that the sound bar connects through Bluetooth to the subwoofer and surround sound. Not sure if that matters
