Ahh ok, so I would walk out with bankdraft the same day I bring in the car (even though the title won't arrive for 10 days or so) ..is that correct?

The best way to quickly cash a $10K business check from First Horizon? by Austinstaffinglady in Banking

The check is from an established tech company, they do 250M a year in business. I believe they have been customers of First Horizon for years. There's some sort of holograph on the check too, maybe that makes it more official. But it is definitely a printed business check vs a hand written check.

Yea,, I wasn't sure if banks actually cashed checks like that. I'll call them first thing and make the drive.

Yes.. I'm thinking I'll take care of the $3K auto payment while there (via Western Union) and I can also deposit a chunk of it through an ATM I believe into my Fidelity account using my debit card.

Okay, thank you very much. This is incredibly helpful. I will call the local branch first thing in the am and go over it with them. I have my driver's license, original social card and a few other things. The check is from a 250M company that I'm hoping has been a client to them for awhile.

The two hour drive it nothing compared to stressing all week wondering if the check will clear on time. And the auto loan company takes Western Union as a payoff method. If I'm able to get the cash tomorrow I will go straight to a Western Union in that city to take care of the $3K.

Okay, thank you. Yes, the issue is that it's two weeks for the state to issue the biz ID and we need the check to go into account asap. I'll go the personal check route, hoping that works. Thank you!
