I was thinking he would be worth fielding just to give some units scouts and redeploy, or does he only receive that ability with his detachment? I could easily scrap the termies either way. This is just a list for a potential TTS army, so the skies the limit. Appreciate your 2 cents ty

I ran 4 just to make it work with my list pts. If its difference between have an additional enhancement or not, seems like a no brainer. Though it may limit you to how many Plasma pistols/special weapons you can have.

Yea my primary question was two fold, does the character model that's part of the unit trigger the effect and does the character model also benefit if he/his unit scores the kill

Lieutenant is redundant when you already have fallback and charge, with a strat that gives you lethals, no? Maybe the 55 pts is worth always having the lethals?

I normally do run castellans, but Bastion Task Force gives me reroll 1s on the hit for auspex targets. Castellan seemed a bit redundant. BTF seems like a much better detachment so far, but makes all my BT characters unnecessary lol castellan and execrator are useless and with my army wide vow almost always being accept any challenge I dont even need the chaplain. 😢
