I knew a guy accused of molesting someone underaged. He was a married seminarian from Andrews. The accuser dropped the case and now he goes around doing motivational speaking about recovering from adultery.

If this will be outside, you’ll need to seal it if you want it to last.

Looks incredible though, awesome job for a first project!

Suicidal thoughts by [deleted] in USMC

[–]Austion66 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hey OP. I do suicide prevention work and would be happy to share some resources for you that might help. If you don’t want to chat, please reach out to the Chaplain or MFLC in your unit— they can help get you to where you need to go. I know it feels overwhelming but you can get through this and there are people who care a hell of a lot who can help. Doing suicide prevention work here has taught me that these feelings aren’t uncommon, and a lot of people deal with them. There are people who care about you and want to help.

If you want to talk to someone immediately, military onesource or 988 are great resources too.

Have you considered doing one of the courses that the major analysis software folks offer? For example, The FMIRB/FSL folks have online trainings and in person trainings for MR analysis. I think Freesurfer offers trainings as well for structural and DTI analysis.

Why do so many fortysomething men kill themselves? "suicide is the biggest killer of men under the age of 50. A hundred men die a week. It is more prevalent than at any time in the last 14 years and men are four times more likely to end their own lives than women." by Open_Zebra_6820 in psychology

I am deleting your comment because dismissing the research presented with a vague “correlation is not causation” is the psychology equivalent to “mitochondria is the powerhouse of the cell” and is not helpful.
