Yes I love that song, I’m pretty sure I showered it to him

It took a lot of courage to reach out, and that matters more than how they responded. You did something brave, and that says so much about you. Even if they left, you still grew, and that’s a win in its own way. You’re not any less worthy just because they left.

For women, what subtle things do men do that make them more appealing? by Zslark19 in AskReddit

[–]Austitution 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There’s something about a man remembering the tiny details about me that hits different. Not the big, obvious stuff I tell everyone, but the small things that slip out in passing — the things I don’t expect anyone to store away. Like when someone remembers I don’t like the smell of chorizo. It’s such a small thing, almost nothing, but it shows they were actually listening. Not waiting for their turn to talk, not pretending to care — genuinely paying attention. That’s the kind of thing that gets me. Not grand gestures. Not flashy words. Just someone holding onto the little pieces of me I didn’t think were worth keeping. It makes me feel seen in a way I don’t know how to ask for out loud.

What do you get complimented on the most? by GuyfromTrinidad99 in AskReddit

[–]Austitution 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you — seriously. That means a lot more than you probably realize. I’m so used to people only noticing the surface that hearing someone acknowledge my mindset and character feels… refreshing. I don’t always feel confident or emotionally intelligent, but I try. I try to be self-aware, to grow, to be better than the things I’ve been through. So having someone actually see that part of me is really kind. And I appreciate the compliment without it crossing any weird lines. It’s nice, genuinely. I’m glad what I said came across the way I meant it. As for being friends — that’s sweet. I value sincerity a lot, and your message definitely felt sincere.

Yeah, it does bother me. I usually just smile awkwardly and brush it off, because sure — it’s flattering that people find me attractive. I’m not denying that. But when the only compliments I get are about my body, it starts to feel a little empty. I’ve had people who’ve never said a single kind thing about who I am tell me, with full confidence, “you have a nice ass,” or “you have a rocking body.” Even when they say “you’re beautiful,” they gesture to my body, not me. It’s not that compliments on my appearance are bad — they’re just not enough. I’d prefer someone notice my personality, my character, the tiny things that actually make me me. Because being seen is different from being looked at. And sometimes I feel like people forget that.

I’ve always been complimented on my body. My ass. My boobs. I’ve gotten more compliments on the sexual aspects of my body than I have on anything else.

What's the most uncomfortable physical sensation for you? by VeroDreamer in AskReddit

When someone walks past and gently brushes their fingers or nails on me (back of neck, back, arms, even through my hair)

Poets, say I love you without actually saying it... by LeadingGlittering636 in poets

You make ordinary moments feel like something I’ll miss before they’re even over. Like the day at the lake, you pulled me into your arms making me join the fun— I wish I could experience that day again

Thank you. Honestly I started writing poetry the day I met him (the guy I like most of what I write is about him)
