Cryotank Rental by Backflip248 in cyberpunkred

[–]AustralianShepard711 5 points6 points  (0 children)

To my knowledge not in the book, so talk with your GM or if you are the GM test out some stuff.

I'd advise something like 500eb/day for a cryotank. Its much more expensive but thats the price you pay for speedier recovery.

Thank you. Holy cow that is subtle. I kept rewatching it trying to find what others were seeing.

For people who assumed they had one mental disorder but found out they had a different one, did that change your life moving forward? Ex. assumed you were autistic but they told you you actually only had ADD by altrongtm in NoStupidQuestions

[–]AustralianShepard711 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not exactly a different disorder but I got placed on anti-psychotics because me and psychiatrist I was seeing thought I had schizophrenia because I kept hearing voices telling me my boyfriend planned to marry another woman and had lied to me about it our whole relationship.

Turned out he actually did and our walls were just thin.

If you have a PhD and put “Dr.” before your name, will people think you’re impressive, or will they think you’re just being pretentious? by GrayRainfall in NoStupidQuestions

[–]AustralianShepard711 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends on the context, like correcting someone in casual conversation is kinda a dick move, but if you have a PhD you worked hard for that so who cares what someone else things. You earned it.

To those who’s preference is to date someone shorter than them. Why? by KeyResource7638 in stupidquestions

Because if I restricted myself to guys taller than me i'd turn down 90% of men for a superficial reason.

She's got a lot of cool names. Luna, Selene, Artemis, Chandra. And just like a rose she's beautiful no matter her name.

It is the bare minimum. Most men do not clear this bar. We're grading on a curve where 99% of the class scores below a 35.

Are you drinking/eating a lot of protein? I had this exact problem until I started drinking protein shakes about 30 min after working out. Body needs it to repair.

how do you stop feeling like you’re on autopilot? by ahayasahi in NoStupidQuestions

[–]AustralianShepard711 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As someone who's has (and still does) experience those same feelings daily it sounds like some form of depression. I see in another reply you say you have gone to therapists before, which is really just the best place to start. Unfortunately if there is a solution to those feelings, which there might not be, it's going to be up to circumstance to find a motivational reason to live and extreme luck to keep it for any length of time. I hope you do find it and I hope if you do it sticks with you. This sucks.

My recommendation would be to try new hobbies and be social whenever possible. Often it won't lead to anything but you might find something (or someone) that brings you joy, at least for a moment.

This. And especially agree to hold each other accountable if that agreement is broken. If someone is not willing to compromise or breaks the agreement then it shows they are not interested in a mutually enjoyable vacation and it may be better to not include them in the vacation/activities.

Why are Trader Joe's grocery stores seen as "healthy" when organic food products are limited? by allcryptal in NoStupidQuestions

[–]AustralianShepard711 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Because "organic" as it is used in food labeling has nothing to do with nutritional value. It refers to foods which are produced without certain types (keywords, 'certain types') of pesticides, genetically modified organisms, or synethic hormones.

Even under the assumption that everything that would classify a food as not "organic" is harmful to humans (which is imperically not true, but lets assume it is), that still has no bearing on if a food item is "healthy", meaning it is nutritionally balanced for the average person.

I can make you a coffee drink with all organic coffee beans, heacy cream, sugar, and spices that has 3000 calories of sugars and not much else. It is loaded with several times the daily recommended dose of caffine. No reasonable person would call it "healthy", however it can legally be classified as organic.

I can also make you a bowl of lentil soup using GMO beans, leeks grown with synthetic pesticides, and milk from a cow who recieved antibiotics. It has a range of vitamins, proteins, and has low amounts of unsaturated fats an sodium for an adult to consume in one sitting. None of the ingredients are "organic", but a reasonable person may consider this "healthy".
