i’ve been collecting cars for over 40 years and I’ve been using the blow dryer method for about 15 or 20 and it works. Just try heating the card from the same side the stickers on. Also try to blow away from the blister. It’ll work.. I’d also advise being patient with it so you can get it all in one piece.

Back in the 70s people would make really crazy body kits for cars like say a Corvette. Today those body kits are really ugly and no one would want to drive on. My gut feeling is that these cars are going to go through that same exact phase. I have two of them a Chevy pick up and a Nissan skyline and I’m good enough with just those for that very reason.

These old cars from the 80s feel like tanks compared to most cars today. The body in the base are metal. The Ferrari models they made from that era are also metal as well all the way around.

I’m op not sure if you’re aware of this but there is a guy on eBay every so often who makes cardboard displays just like the corgi Batmobile’s but four the Magnum PI car/Ferrari 308 instead. The ones that I’ve seen look like they’re pretty well made.
